Children Readings Festival is one of few in the Central and Eastern Europe.

It is entirely dedicated to the literature for children. Especially for young readers and their parents a book fair, presentations of the children literature publishing houses, meetings with writers, master classes, books competitions and lotteries, charity events and discussions of the specialists are arranged.

It was the airport in Lviv, of all things, that first charmed me. Regional airports across the former Soviet Union tend to be a dreary lot, with all the appeal of a 24-hour bus station.
