Procedures for making interurban calls, and calls to cell phone users of different mobile operators:

First, dial “0”, then the city code or the mobile operator’s code. That is, if you are placing a call from Lviv to another city or locality in Ukraine, first dial “0”, wait for the dial tone, then dial the city code, and immediately, the user’s phone number.

0 (wait for the dial tone);

CITY CODE;

USER’S PHONE NUMBER.

For example, if you want to call someone in Kyiv, dial 0 – 44, and then the user’s number.

Codes of cities, towns and localities in Ukraine

The same procedure should be used for dialling cell phone users from landline telephones. First, dial “0”, wait for the dial tone, then dial the mobile operator’s code, and finally the user’s number.

0 (wait for the dial tone);
OPERATOR’S CODE;
USER’S PHONE NUMBER (seven digit number).

For example, if you want to call someone using the Utel operator, dial 0 – 91, then immediately, the user’s number.

ATTENTION: when you make an interurban call, you should dial “0” ONLY ONCE, at the very beginning of your call. If you accidentally dial “0-0”, then you will be automatically connected to INTERNATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS, and the rates will be much higher.

Procedure for making international calls:

First, dial the new code: “0 - 0”, that is, “0”, wait for the dial tone, then dial “0” again, and immediately the country code, city code, and finally, the user’s phone number.

0 (wait for dial tone);
