Christmas 2010 in Lviv
Lvivers and visitors to the city enjoyed watching more than ten Verteps (Nativity plays), like those that were performed during the “Blazing Christmas Star” Festival and those, which were organized by simple youngsters or students, who were more than ready to perform their plays on the streets of Lviv.
The President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko visited the city during the Christmas celebrations.

On February 23, 2010 budget airline company Wizz Air Ukraine has announced start of the Lviv-Venice flights in May 2010. This flight will be the second international connection of this company in Lviv - from last year Wizz Air flies to German Dortmund.2

The official delegation presented Lviv at ceremony of the UEFA EURO 2012™ qualifying draw on 7 February 2010 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.
