Let’s start from the beginning. Dakh Daughters is a Ukrainian band that began its activity in Kyiv in 2012. It’s a unique collective that combines music and theatrical art. The group consists of seven talented women who play various instruments.

A distinctive feature of Dakh Daughters is their multilingual performance – the members sing in Ukrainian, English, French, and German. Moreover, they use different dialects of Ukrainian in their work. Each composition is a separate theatrical act with a whirlwind of emotions, touching characters, and incredible stories.

In their compositions, the band often refers to works of famous writers, integrating their texts into their songs. This adds extra depth and literary context to their music.
