About the event:
Emil Asadov is a Ukrainian composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, live artist, organizer and creator of audiovisual shows. He will play for us original soundtracks for films and new compositions that are being prepared for release.
Emil has extraordinary musical experience and an interesting biography, which became the basis of creativity. He served in the military orchestra and song and dance ensemble in Odessa, where he played the clarinet, tuba, French horn, timpani, guitar and double bass. Subsequently, he became the founder and member of several musical projects and bands. He combined music with generative graphics in the “Digital Himalayas” project, experimented with acid-jazz in the “Potreba Group”, played with the “No Wasted”, “Openspace Garage”, “Indirect” and “Rudnic Ore” bands.
His solo albums “Youdlar Yurdu”, “A Home No Longer Exists”, “Crimean Strong Sea” are devoted to his family, to the study of the Azerbaijani genre of mughams, to childhood memories, to the indigenous peoples of Crimea.
You will definitely be interested in the fact that the musician created soundtracks for classic films, such as Dzyga Vertov’s “Man with a Movie Camera”, old Ukrainian animations that were presented at the Flatpack festival in Birmingham.
